Bonus e Pagamenti

Bonus e Pagamenti App is the official mobile app of bonusepagamenti.it, created to help Italian citizens stay up to date with the latest news about public incentives, subsidies, and payments. Available for both Android and iOS, the app also features a smart onboarding wizard that identifies relevant bonuses based on the user’s profile — helping people discover what they’re entitled to with ease and clarity.

Challenges

Designing a user experience that simplifies access to complex, ever-changing information was a major challenge — especially for a large and diverse user base, many of whom are not tech-savvy. The app needed to provide real-time updates, intuitive navigation, and clear language around bureaucratic processes. One of the most innovative elements was the onboarding wizard: a personalized flow that asks users a few simple questions to create their profile and recommend relevant benefits. Designing this meant balancing clarity, tone, and conditional logic, all while ensuring the UX stayed light and conversational.

My Role

I was responsible for the complete UX and UI design of the mobile app (cross-platform). Starting with a competitive and market analysis, I mapped user journeys and flows to align the experience with real user goals. The design phase focused on visual clarity and content prioritization — ensuring information was digestible without being oversimplified. I collaborated closely with developers and stakeholders to refine the interaction model and bring the onboarding wizard to life, iterating quickly to reflect user feedback and maintain a smooth experience across platforms.
