A mobile application for managing InfoCert’s core identity services — including SPID (Public Digital Identity System), digital signature, and identity wallet. Designed for both Android and iOS, the app aimed to simplify access to secure digital services for a user base of millions.
Designing for scale was just the beginning. The most critical challenge was the onboarding and SPID registration flow, which had to comply with the strict technical and UX requirements defined by AGID. This included supporting different identity verification methods — video ID, electronic documents, and in-person registration — while maintaining a seamless user experience. Designing around these constraints required a precise balance between regulatory compliance, clarity, and usability. With real users spanning a wide range of digital literacy, accessibility and guidance were key priorities throughout.
I led the end-to-end UX and UI design of the app’s first major release. Working closely with the development and marketing teams from both Eco-Mind (my client) and InfoCert, I translated complex identity processes into a fluid mobile experience. The project followed an agile, iterative model: continuous feedback loops between design, development, and QA allowed us to integrate new features progressively while validating each step with stakeholders.
